Raoul Ménès, MBA, FCPA, FCMA, FCMC, CIA, CFE, CCEP-I, CRMA, CCSA, C.Adm., is the Chief Audit Executive for AV Homes, Inc. an Arizona-based, publicly-traded homebuilding, land development and real estate operations organization. Prior to joining AV Homes, he served as the Founder and Principal of Ménès Consulting Group, LLC, a management consultancy focused on internal audit, governance, risk and compliance, ethics, enterprise risk management and corporate training. For more than two decades he has helped national and international organizations in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors optimize their internal audit activities, while managing critical business risks. He has supported Sarbanes-Oxley or Bill 198 compliance initiatives and led projects to optimize operational and financial controls, restructuring accounting, finance, and internal audit departments. In addition to his broad business process evaluation and reengineering expertise, he has extensive experience in fraud risk assessment and detection, interviewing and interrogation, investigation and audit and employee theft examinations. Raoul has received numerous awards including being named the 2004 Québec CMA of the Year. Most recently, in 2016, he was designated as a Fellow accountant (FCPA, FCMA) and management consultant (FCMC), intended to formally recognize his achievements in his career. In early 2017, he completed the “COSO Internal Control Certificate Program”, demonstrating his expertise in designing, implementing and monitoring a system of internal control. He served on the Board of Governors of the IIA-Phoenix Chapter from 2006 to 2015 and was the 2013-2014 IIA-Phoenix Chapter President. Since January 2015, he has been a member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) Audit Committee.
