Joanne Gorenstein, CPA, CA, CIA, CISA is a Managing Director within Risk Assurance Services of the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Ottawa office. Joanne has been working in the field of external auditing, internal auditing, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting and the development of management control frameworks for over 20 years.

Joanne specializes in providing co-source and outsourced internal audit services to a wide variety of public sector and non-profit organizations. Joanne has led numerous audit engagements within the Federal government including examples such as: audits of values and ethics, audits of grants and contribution programs, systems under development audits, IT governance audits and an Audit of Social Media.
