Kessels, Bill

Bill Kessels is a Partner in EY’s advisory practice with 30 years’ experience in the areas of information technology, risk, internal controls, internal audit, financial management and change management for the public sector, Crown corporations, the private sector and non-profit sector. A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA), Bill brings a multidisciplinary approach to assurance and advisory engagements in order to help clients meet their objectives. Bill is based in Vancouver where he leads both EY’s local advisory practice and the public sector risk practice across Canada. Bill is a Board member of the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation and a recipient of the William S. Smith award for his performance on the CIA exams.
