This session will provoke and inspire audit leaders and audit committee members:

  •   What might the future look like with political, economic and social disruption along with technological changes including robotics, process automation, analytics and competition with organizations that are born digital?
  • What skills will internal audit need to navigate these waves of change? How can internal audit use leading practices to best serve its organizations?
  • The struggles to find, keep and reskill the current workforce are real. How can internal audit help their organizations to transform and thrive?
  • How will the new workforce generations transform the mandate of internal audit in delivering a new kind of added-value? Will the new workforce generations force IA to re-brand itself? As these changes hit public sector and private sector entities, internal audit has the potential to bring great value to our organizations despite the challenges for business and policy makers In this context, this event will discuss some workforce strategies for internal audit, including and how it can support its organization to thrive as it faces the changes of the future.

Format

Kicking off with a lunch and innovative futurist keynote speaker, this session will paint the vision of what lies ahead for business, work and our profession.
Our second keynote speaker will showcase the challenges of preparing the workforce for this future, bringing into focus the reality of disruption that faces both public and private sector organizations.
